Hi,
I have an ethernet card in a pcmcia slot.
The link to /etc/init.d/laptop-net is currently /etc/rc2.d/S12laptop-net
and friends. The problem is that pcmcia-cs gets loaded at level 13. So
when laptop-net is started, the pcmcia ethernet card is not yet
recognized, so laptop-net does not find the correct scheme, but sets it
to "down". If I do /etc/init.d/laptop-net restart just after boot, all
is fine. Would it be OK to move laptop-net to level 14? i did it
locally, and network works out-of-the-box after a reboot.
By the way, in the current configuration, shouldn't laptop-net get
called automatically when pcmcia-cs is started?
