Package: laptop-net
Version: 2.26-4
Severity: important

Hello,

I wanted to use laptop-net in environment where after bringing up the
interface, a few commands must be ran. Looking at the files that are
contained in the package, I found /usr/share/laptop-net/profile-change
which shows rughly what should be done in order to achieve this.

Please provide documentation for the package (no man pages) and/or
examples of such configurations.

Severity is important since this functionality, although present can't
be used since it is not documented at all, thus making the package
unusable in scenarios like the one described above.

Changes:
 laptop-net (2.26-5) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Closes: bug#388384 -- add documentation in the form of a skeleton for
custom profiles (patch from Eddy Petrisor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>)
   * Closes: bug#228397 -- laptop-net loaded too early on boot; this is no
longer an issue, given where pcmcia services are now started (in rcS.d)
and that laptops now usually have eth0 as a built-in device and not a
     PCMCIA card.
   * Closes: bug#333163 -- on purge, laptop-net will now correctly remove
     files from /etc/apm
   * Closes: bug#178920 -- 'net' is a more appropriate section than 'admin'
   * Closes: bug#254012 -- added 'Conflicts' with 'laptop-netconf' which
has no connection to this package, and will indeed cause some minor
     trouble if both are installed.
