> latest upstream version of yelp is 2.16.1 from 2006-10-02.

Please stop filing these bugs, it's a waste of time for you and me.
We know when upstream releases are made, we don't need to have bug
reminders, or to have to close bugs each time additionally yo all the
work already involved. If we're not uploading them, it's because it's
not the priority, and takes time from other things, just as these bugs
 do.

When you first filed a wishlist item of this type, I thought you were
needing a new upstream release for a particular reason, perhaps a very
annoying bug, so I uploaded it because I thought you were in a real
 need for it.

We know about new upstream releases because we're subscribed to the
upstream release list, and there are always the PTS, and this page in
 case we need a resync:
    http://www.0d.be/debian/debian-gnome-2.16-status.html

 (I'm closing these bugs.)

   Thanks for considering,
