i couldn't remove totd, because the file /etc/dhclient-enter-hooks didn't exist on my machine. after

touch /etc/dhclient-enter-hooks

i could deinstall the package. just wanted to report it, in case other people have the same problems.

also totd didn't work on my system, so i deinstalled it imediatly.

This bug in totd seems away for ages.

I installed and removed tha package safely without being prompted by
debconf.

It seems safe to me to just close the bug, assuming that the "recent"
removal of nearly all debconf stuff fixed the issue
