When trying to print a postscript file with evince I get the following
messages
(evince:6516): GnomePrintCupsPlugin-WARNING **: iconv does not support
ppd character encoding: ISOLatin1, trying CSISOLatin1
** (evince:6516): CRITICAL **: ev_print_job_print: assertion
`EV_IS_PS_EXPORTER (job->document)' failed
and nothing is sent to the printer. Printing of PDFs works. Tried it on
different computers running Debian Stable with the same result.
The computers I tried it on don't have a local printer installed, but
are CUPS clients. Printing via 'lp' works, though.
I tried to install a backport for evince (V0.4.0 from backports.org) and
this solved the problem, so I assume it's a bug in evince and not a
misconfiguration.
