Package: colormake
Version: 0.2-3
Severity: normal

Try putting this into a Makefile:

target:
echo "This is a very long message to warn you about something and it
probably wraps round and by the way you should really pay attention to this"

and run it with colormake on a terminal 80 columns wide.
The message gets abbreviated, both in the command itself and
in the output - its middle is replaced with ".."

In some cases this could have serious consequences so I
think it ought to be documented at the very least, and
possibly able to be turned off with a command-line switch.
