The XEN hypervisor path is specified as /boot/xen-<whatever>, instead of the correct /xen-<whatever>. (Since at the point of reading the xen hypervisor we have only mounted the partition containing /boot as /, the /boot prefix is not necassary. The same situation is handled by the GRUB menu autogeneration tools (for non-XEN kernels ant initrds) just nice. Good luck.
