Package: gpm
Version: 1.19.6-22
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
It would be great if you could include the text and PostScript docs
mentioned in the readme. It would be even better if you could convert
the PostScript to PDF (I use pdf2ps or pdftops) and include the PDF.
:-)
Reason I am making this request: Someone on IRC asked how to use GPM
for copy-paste and how to assign middle-click on a Mac with only one
mouse button. (Another answerer answered "drag for copy, middle-click
for paste" pointed them to
http://www.yellowpigs.net/computers/debianppc_woody).
(Quote from the Readme: 'The directory "./doc" holds the
documentation. The release embeds a postscript file, slightly reduced
to save paper (doc/gpm2.ps), an info one (doc/gpm.info) and a
text-only version (doc/gpmdoc.txt -- but without table of contents, by
now). Man pages are automatically extracted from the info file, and
are installed with "make install".')
Cheers,
Jason

.
[ Guillem Jover ]
* Add gpmdoc.txt and gpmdoc.ps to the gpm package, this should be split
into a gpm-doc package later on probably. (Closes: #393715)
* LSB init script support:
- Add an LSB description header.
- Use LSB output functions, thus add lsb-base to gpm's Depends.
* Now using Standards-Version 3.7.2 (no changes needed).
* Fixed the header and some bogus multi-byte sequences in the Dutch
translation, and unfuzzy due to some typo fixes in the original template.
.
[ Peter Samuelson ]
* Remove a double space in the debconf template. Unfuzzy all translations.
* Added Galician debconf translation. (Closes: #361819)
Thanks to Jacobo Tarrio <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
* Added Dutch debconf translation. (Closes: #364403)
Thanks to Esther Hanko <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
