Arrrgh. No, it is due to my non-americvan keyboard layout: when typing a pipe (|) and a space right after that I sometimes do not release the AltGR key needed for the pipe soon enough and type a space-looking (on some editors including mcedit that I use) non-space. I actually tested this time, but no, not a full install.
