When building 'newlib' on amd64 with gcc-4.0,
I get the following error:

rm debian/tmp/usr/*/lib/libthread_db.so.1
rm: cannot remove `debian/tmp/usr/*/lib/libthread_db.so.1': No such file or
directory
make: *** [install] Error 1
With the attached patch 'newlib' can be compiled
on amd64 using gcc-4.0.
