Well, I went as far as making a package, giving it to the current maintainer, receiving the answer that he'd commit it in "a couple of weeks". That's months ago. In the mean time, there's a .deb available for download from the same place as the ratpoison source. Feel free to pitch me as a replacement to the Debian powers that be.
