Hi, I had the same problem with mozilla printing , on my Epson C84,and resolved it by replacing 600dpi by 300dpi in /etc/Xprint/C/print/attributes/document
Don't you think that default printer resolution should be selected via
debconf at install time, with a notice explaining the problem ?
