I hadn't seen this email when I replied before. I've just uploaded
2.8.10 which fixes my error properly: the temporary fix would have
still died on the command: bts tag 123456 - sid. The fix is to only
regard options at the start of the command line.

You don't need to do this with 2.8.10, as you didn't in the past.
