Package: abcde Version: 2.2.2-1 Severity: normal
Godspeed You! Black Emperor's CD "Yanqui U.X.O." contains two tracks named "Motherfucker=Redeemer (Part One)" and "Motherfucker=Redeemer (Part Two)". abcde appears to chop off these titles after the "=" sign. Furthermore, it doesn't notice that this creates two tracks with identical titles; it not only happily created a broken playlist and filenames, but silently overwrote one of the mp3 files with the other, so that I have to re-rip in order to correct things. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-2-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages abcde depends on: ii cd-discid 0.9-1 CDDB DiscID utility ii cdparanoia 3a9.8-11 An audio extraction tool for sampl ii flac 1.1.1-4 Free Lossless Audio Codec - comman ii lame 3.96.1-1 LAME Ain't an MP3 Encoder ii vorbis-tools 1.0.1-1.2 Several Ogg Vorbis Tools ii wget 1.9.1-10 retrieves files from the web -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
