I think it's the /etc/X11/xfce4/xinitrc which has: xrdb -nocpp -merge - << EOF Xft.dpi: 96 Xft.hinting: 1 Xft.hintstyle: hintmedium EOF It's a config file so feel free to comment those lines out and restart it. That's how upstream ship it so I've respected that.
