The "menubar" bug with mozilla-thunderbird when using the Simple theme still happens with version 1.0. It also happens when using mozilla-firefox-gnome-support. To me, this is a thunderbird/firefox bug. This theme is a bit special, as it changes the text color in selected menu items. Maybe the firesomething code is picking the wrong color in some cases.
You have any idea what the reason for this might might be? I mean, maybe the text color is just not extracted? But for other themes highlighting menu items changes the text color too and it works in the firesomethings? Or are there two mechanisms for setting the text colors in selected menu items? If you have any idea, I would be happy to hear them.
