I've built the following kernel, with make-kpkg --apped_to_version=-200501281 : kernel-image-2.6.8-200501281_10.00.Custom_i386.deb I tried and do a make-kpkg --apped_to_version=-200501281 modules_image on eagle-usb-modules-source. eagle-usb-modules-2.6.8-2-386_1.9.9-1+10.00.Custom_i386.deb I would have expected something like eagle-usb-modules-2.6.8-200501281_1.9.9-1+10.00.Custom_i386.deb Of course it installs into /lib/modules/2.6.8-2-386 instead of /lib/modules/2.6.8-200501281 It seems to be the same if using module-assistant.
