Hey Uwe, I was just thinking that it might be better to replace:
common-configure-indep::
...
common-install-indep::
with
configure/${DEBIAN_PKG}::
...
install/${DEBIAN_PKG}::
The main advantage I see to this is that it better handles the case
where a single Debian source package creates multiple binary packages
(perhaps one for documentation), in which case the later is preferable
over the former.
Also, I was thinking that if you are interested in pursuing a
pearpackage.mk, perhaps we should bring up the idea on the mailing list
in search of further refinement. For that matter, I guess pearpackage.mk
could be independent of dh-make-php (other than that you might want to
use it), so maybe I'll go ahead and mention it myself. :-)
