I believe I briefly mentioned this to Kees on IRC, but here is a bug for it as well. :) Using hardening-check on a static library causes it to report that the file is not an "ELF" file. Technically it is of course correct, but I feel that static libraries is a special case that hardening-check should handle. readelf produces "per-object file" dumps of static libraries, so hardening-check /appears/ to (otherwise) work fine with static libraries. ~Niels -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
