I have moved the cursor character by character through the setting,
and haven't found anything else including leading and trailing spaces.

I tried it but it didn't help.

Renaming the directory didn't help at all.

Is there a way to obtain some debugging info? Eg which command does the 
program actually run, and which error mesage does it receive?
