Severity: important

which-pkg-broke uses dpkg-architecture (from dpkg-dev), but debian-goodies doesn't depend on/recommend/suggest dpkg-dev.

Instead of "dpkg-architecture -L", I'd suggest using "dpkg --print-architecture" followed by "dpkg --print-foreign-architectures".

Note that the latter will fail with dpkg is not new enough, in which case you can assume that there are no foreign architectures.
