Some additional info: this was an upgrade from the last wheezy 5.3.x version. I tried the actual setup (actual database dump and settings) on an ubuntu ec2 instance with
ii php5-cgi 5.3.6-13ubuntu3.6 ii php5-cli 5.3.6-13ubuntu3.6 ii php5-common 5.3.6-13ubuntu3.6 ii php5-pgsql 5.3.6-13ubuntu3.6 ii php5-xcache 1.3.2-1 with no problems. My coredump is about 20MB.
