Would be nice if this could be implemented for Wheezy.
Seems not so much work, only creating a file
/usr/share/pam-configs/group . I've tested that on Squeeze and it works
fine (you need to run "pam-auth-update").
Important is, that there are no spaces at the beginning of the lines:

Default: yes
Priority: 0
Auth-Type: Additional
Auth:
optional pam_group.so
