Package: gnome-panel Version: 2.8.3-1 Severity: normal When logging into GNOME the 'Show Desktop', 'Window Selector', 'Window List' and 'Workspace Switcher' applets all die and have to be reloaded, exactly as the description of bug #331000.
This behaviour was firstly noticed just after applying DSA-816-1 (for xfree86) and the subsequent X11 restart via CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE. Since then, the mentioned applets die regularily on GNOME log-on. I use Debian 3.1 Linux 2.4.27-2-386 #1 Mon May 16 16:47:51 JST 2005 i686 GNU/Linux since its release. Greets, Ivailo
