Package: makehuman Version: 1.0.0~alpha6-3 Severity: minor The description of this package (as well as the other binary packages built from the same source) start by stating:
MakeHuman is an open source (so it's completely free), innovative and professional software (…) However, *all* of Debian is "open source (so it's completely free)". This description not only hides the real description further away, but can lead a user to believe not all of Debian is free. I suggest the description to read, at least: MakeHuman is an innovative and professional software (…) Now, even this way: This sounds like marketspeak, and again, can make a user believe we knowingly include non-professional software in Debian (yes, I recognize not all of Debian is innovative, having a 40 year old Unix tradition). Maybe even better: MakeHuman is a 3-Dimensional humanoid characters modelling software. Features that make this software inovative and unique include a new, highly intuitive GUI and a high quality mesh, optimized to work in subdivision surface mode (for example, Zbrush). Using MakeHuman, a photorealistic character can be modeled in less than 2 minutes. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
