Thanks for the report! It would probably make sense to at least include your config file as an example in the package. But just out of curiosity, could you try using libapache2-mod-wsgi instead of uwsgi-plugin-python? Or are you using some other web server? If so, I would be interested in the details, might as well try to get this working :)
