Hi, first of all thanks for your effort in packaging XBMC for Debian! But is the dependency to libhal1 and libhal-storage1 really necessary? As of Debian and most other distris are deprecating HAL and switching to udisks/upower could you check if there are issues when XBMC is built without HAL?
