It builds and works. However, Lintian gives these messages:
P: photofilmstrip source: source-contains-prebuilt-windows-binary
windows/vcredist_x86.exe
I: photofilmstrip: desktop-entry-contains-encoding-key
usr/share/applications/photofilmstrip.desktop:3 Encoding
I: photofilmstrip: possible-documentation-but-no-doc-base-registration

You should take care of them and either create a dfsg package where you
strip the windows folder or extend debian/copyright with the licensing
information for it.
I recommend stripping it.

Other than that, update it to the newest version and I will check it in
more detail as soon as I have the time.
