Package: libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 Version: 2.26.0-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I am experiencing some serious font rendering issues. I am not entirely sure whether this is the correct package, but since libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 is a common dependency for all of the applications where I experience the issue, this is my best guess. Here is a screenshot where the issue is visible: https://wensveen.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/screenshot-from-2012-04-16-085408.png Usually the problems begin when I open my GMAIL in iceweasel, but the same happens with epiphany. Text is illegible and while moving the mouse cursor around (on redraws caused by css, probably) or scrolling, other text becomes illegible too, but some text turns normal. When this happens, other text in applications like gnome-terminal get garbled as well, as is visible in the screenshot. Sometimes, window titles are affected as well. However, text in Qt applications (such as konqueror) are not affected. Nor is text in java applications (such as PS3 Media Server). Unfortunately I can't pinpoint the moment when this started happening, but I think this has been happening for at least a month. At first I thought it had something to do with the video driver (xserver-xorg-video-radeon), but since only GNOME applications are affected, I ruled this possibility out (or at least highly improbable). Please let me know if you need any further information.
