Package: notify-osd Version: 0.9.32-2 Severity: important Tags: patch Dear Maintainer, notify-osd does not start automatically when the user opens a desktop session. This is caused by /etc/xdg/autostart/notify-osd.desktop not being present in the package. notification-daemon on the contrary installs an autostart file, and is correctly started at session opening.
Please include an autostart desktop file in this package. Attaching an example autostart file that could fit notify-osd -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.utf8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages notify-osd depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.10.0-3 ii libatk1.0-0 2.2.0-2 ii libc6 2.13-27 ii libcairo2 1.10.2-7 ii libdbus-1-3 1.5.12-1 ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.98-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.24.1-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.30.2-6 ii libgtk-3-0 3.2.3-1 ii libpango1.0-0 1.29.4-3+b1 ii libpixman-1-0 0.24.4-1 ii libwnck-3-0 3.4.0-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.4.4-4 notify-osd recommends no packages. notify-osd suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
