I've added your repo and installed the 0.9.8 amd64 package on one of
my Squeeze computers.
The segfault is gone. Now fityk correctly displays the error but does not quit.

I don't suppose this package can be updated in Squeeze?, the bug is
reasonably important. Also, the problems seem gone in newer versions
for the original reporter of this bug.

If, however, you just want to close the bug report, because it's
solved in 0.9.8 in wheezy that's ok by me (especially with the
existence of your repository).
