Package: coreutils Version: 8.13-3.1 Severity: normal Tags: wheezy The subject line says it all. "who" does not recognize users logged in via virtual terminals (non-X local users). Ironically, this is almost the exact opposite problem reported in Debian bug report 621094! I am using an up-to-date wheezy system as of a few days ago from the date of this bug report. This problem has been around for a while. I've just now gotten around to reporting it.
