I would like to second this report, also found in Ubuntu: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/isc-dhcp/+bug/930962
This problem is likely to become much more prominent in the near future, when vhost-net/virtio-net environments become commonplace. I have verified that it still occurs in current Debian: Version: 4.2.2.dfsg.1-5 I have also verified that the Fedora patch for the latest branch http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/gitweb/?p=dhcp.git;a=blob;f=dhcp-4.2.2-xen-checksum.patch;h=038d346d726e131f1ab2579fe015a72b49733a0d;hb=HEAD applies cleanly to 4.2.2.dfsg.1-5 and fixes the problem.
