This is odd. It's definitely fixed the problem for myself, which was due to cleaning /run and removing some of the udev state. If you add an "exit 0" to the top of /lib/init/bootclean.sh (to disable cleaning), does this prevent the problem? Did you reboot after installing -24? (Since this is a problem which is created at boot) It would be useful to have a copy of the boot logs for 22.1 and 24 so that we can look at any obvious differences. Thanks, Roger -- .''`.
