Package: icinga-common Version: 1.6.1-3~bpo60+1 Severity: normal I have a setup to have the real icinga checks made on a host with very restricted access vectors. The web frontend runs in a own kvm that mounts /var/log/icinga and /var/lib/icinga from the main machine but has no big rights to that paths.
That works well for normal situations but every time I have tu update icinga-common I first have to umount the both directories as the update process tries to create existing files/directories and chmods them to rights it think what is ok. But both will fail as the frontend machine has no rights to that directories apart from reading. So every update with includes icinga will fail. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.36.2 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE, LC_CTYPE=de_DE (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to de_DE) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages icinga-common depends on: ii adduser 3.112+nmu2 add and remove users and groups ii bsd-mailx [mailx] 8.1.2-0.20100314cvs-1 simple mail user agent ii coreutils 8.5-1 GNU core utilities ii debconf [debconf-2 1.5.36.1 Debian configuration management sy ii lsb-base 3.2-23.2squeeze1 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip ii nagios-plugins-bas 1.4.15-3squeeze1 Plugins for the nagios network mon ii ucf 3.0025+nmu1 Update Configuration File: preserv Versions of packages icinga-common recommends: ii nagios-plugins 1.4.15-3squeeze1 Plugins for the nagios network mon icinga-common suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/icinga/commands.cfg changed [not included] /etc/icinga/icinga.cfg changed [not included] /etc/icinga/objects/contacts_icinga.cfg changed [not included] /etc/icinga/objects/hostgroups_icinga.cfg changed [not included] /etc/icinga/objects/localhost_icinga.cfg changed [not included] /etc/icinga/objects/services_icinga.cfg changed [not included] /etc/icinga/resource.cfg [Errno 13] Keine Berechtigung: u'/etc/icinga/resource.cfg' -- debconf information: * icinga/check_external_commands: false -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
