I have now observed the same dataloss when the shutdown is non-interactive but graceful. Specifically, I ran:
pkill -SIGINT rtorrent from the commandline. The text during shutdown appeared to mirror that of using control-q. Then restarted with: rtorrent -o check_hash=no,enable_trackers=no,max_peers=0,max_peers_seed=0 I'm mentioning the startup options for completeness, but they are irrelevent because I've seen the loss of metadata in the past when I simply ran rtorrent without options. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
