Backporting should be easy using code in l.3855ff, ie. appending
if {[sc_pos side] == "white"} {
set movecount [expr {$ply / 2 + 1}]
::CorrespondenceChess::updateConsole "info Increment ply $movecount"
}
to the if ($resign==1) statement.
