I had a talk with a person in the kde irc channel (thank you said person) this is apparently fixed in version 4.8 of kwin, so I hope that version can be pushed soon. For anyone having trouble in the mean time please do the following:
1. Edit/Create /etc/environment 2. Add "QT_GRAPHICSSYSTEM=native" without the quotes 3. Log out and Restart the X Server -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [email protected]
