Thanks for the patch. I've merged the symbol fixes.
It would be nice if the change to disable the test for the moment was a bit simpler. It's also causing a lot of noise, since we're now printing the output for all the tests.
Would it perhaps be possible to just ignore exit 1 codes from test-transaction-expand.
