Package: sbuild Version: 0.63.0-1 Severity: important Currently, running any of the sbuild commands requires xapt to be installed. It looks as though using xapt is supposed to be optional. Under the Sbuild/Conf.pm file around line 262, the 'XAPT' hash entry contains two CHECK child hash entries. Remove the second CHECK entry (the line which simply has 'CHECK => $validate_program') and sbuild resumes to work as it should.
I could add an appropriate patch later. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages sbuild depends on: ii adduser 3.113+nmu3 ii apt-utils 0.9.5.1 ii libsbuild-perl 0.63.0-1 ii perl 5.14.2-11 ii perl-modules 5.14.2-11 Versions of packages sbuild recommends: ii debootstrap 1.0.40 ii fakeroot 1.18.3-1 Versions of packages sbuild suggests: ii deborphan <none> ii wget 1.13.4-3 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
