If I didn't make a mistake, it crashes really randomly, without me even touching the keyboard at the moment when it goes down. I run under fvwm (no Gnome or KDE or something) and have a mixed xkb layout that I so far need to fix up with some additional xmodmap commands to have the umlauts etc. where I actually want them, move the Escape key into a usable position etc. I am using this base config: XKBMODEL="pc105" XKBLAYOUT="us" XKBVARIANT="intl-unicode" XKBOPTIONS="terminate:ctrl_alt_bksp" BACKSPACE="guess" The keyboard itself is a Fujitsu KBPC-E.
