Package: resolvconf Version: 1.66 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I have local proxy dns server that accessible on 127.0.0.1 and it use /run/resolvconf/resolv.conf (binded to chrooted directory) for configure itself. I need to notify it in case resolv.conf is updated, for which I use script in update-libc.d/ as man page suggest. But after recent package update scripts in update-libc.d/* not executed if /etc/resolv.conf is not a symlink to /etc/resolvconf/run/resolv.conf My /etc/resolv.conf is plain file with only one line : nameserver 127.0.0.1; Commenting out line 153 in /etc/resolv.conf/update.d/libc fixed this problem for me. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.17-cst8.1 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages resolvconf depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.43 ii initscripts 2.88dsf-22.1 ii lsb-base 4.1+Debian6 resolvconf recommends no packages. resolvconf suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/dhcp/dhclient-enter-hooks.d/resolvconf changed [not included] /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/head changed [not included] /etc/resolvconf/update.d/libc changed [not included] -- debconf information: resolvconf/downup-interfaces: resolvconf/linkify-resolvconf: true resolvconf/link-tail-to-original: false resolvconf/reboot-recommended-after-removal: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
