According to our Git log, this bug was already reported in Debian
(#398435) and was fixed in backupninja 0.9.7... looks like it was not
properly fixed :/

Please provide the log output of backupninja run in debug mode, and
ideally a minimal .rdiff config file that exposes the bug:

  sudo backupninja -n -d --run /etc/backup.d/whatever.rdiff

Trying to reproduce the bug with backupninja 1.0-1 from current Debian
unstable would be nice.

Also, backupninja 0.9.9 and later support reading include/exclude
patterns from files, using the "include @/etc/backup_includes" syntax.
Can you please check if this is a valid workaround for you?
