Package: maxima Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
when trying to run maxima, all I get is "unrecoverable error: segmentation violation". This also happens when I try to do "maxima --version" or "maxima --help". This might be a sibling to bugs like #599981, now happening on amd64. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-042stab055.16 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_GB.ISO8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages maxima depends on: pn gnuplot-x11 <none> ii libc6 2.13-33 ii libgmp10 2:5.0.5+dfsg-2 ii libreadline6 6.2-8 ii libx11-6 2:1.4.99.901-2 Versions of packages maxima recommends: pn maxima-share <none> Versions of packages maxima suggests: pn maxima-doc <none> pn maxima-emacs <none> pn texmacs <none> pn wish <none> pn xmaxima <none> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
