I am getting a similar error with apt-cacher-ng backported to Squeeze (via Ubuntu Lucid PPA) and think that it is related.

I am attaching the contents of /var/cache/apt-cacher-ng/security.debian.org/dists/squeeze/updates/ (without subdirectories).
