Thank you for your bug report. I can confirm this bug in the latest release too. I agree with you that this behavior is wrong and should be fixed. I forwarded the issue to upstream [1], since I'd like to hear their point of view before patching the software on my own. BTW, since the freeze is approaching, I'll try to get the latest release sponsored ASAP, either patched or not.
