Apologies for not digging up a fix and patch, but time does not permit at the moment. I use fpdns only occasionally for curiosity and it is currently not working at all for me (thus, important severity): $ fpdns -d ns1.linode.com ==> PROCESS 69.93.127.10:53 0,IQUERY,0,0,1,0,0,0,NOERROR,0,0,0,0 . I am using a fresh Sid VM and unfortunately get the following output: debian:~$ fpdns ns1.linode.com fingerprint (ns1.linode.com, 69.93.127.10): ISC BIND 9.2.3rc1 -- 9.6.1-P1 fingerprint (ns1.linode.com, 2600:3c00:0:0:0:0:0:a): No match found I get the same results on a Wheezy VM.
