Package: powertop Version: 2.0-0.2 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, When i try to start powertop, it just messes the terminal so it needs "reset". By redirecting the output, I've found out that it prints this error message: > Cannot load from file /var/cache/powertop/saved_parameters.powertop before clearing the screen. The cache/powertop directory is empty. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.3.8a (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=it_IT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages powertop depends on: ii libc6 2.13-34 ii libgcc1 1:4.7.1-3 ii libncursesw5 5.9-10 ii libnl-3-200 3.2.7-4 ii libnl-genl-3-200 3.2.7-4 ii libpci3 1:3.1.9-5 ii libstdc++6 4.7.1-3 ii libtinfo5 5.9-10 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.7.dfsg-13 powertop recommends no packages.
