Attempting to upgrade from squeeze to wheezy, having edited /etc/apt/sources.list and done "apt-get update", I get: root@p639:~# apt-get dist-upgrade ... E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution). root@p639:~# apt-get -f install ... E: Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages. E: Unable to correct dependencies root@p639:~# My workaround is to install libssl1.0.0 prior to dist-upgrade. I wonder if there is a better way, whether adding a pre-depend would help.
