Versions of wine since the 20040408 release have been unusable for me.
Every windows application I attempt to start opens up an initial window,
which then immediately closes, and then re-opens, and closes, and so on.
After starting a windows app, I'm usually forced to hit Ctrl-Alt-F1 to
get to a text console where I can kill the winw process, as my desktop
is hijacked by and endless loop of the same window re-spawning.
This isn't still a problem, is it?
